Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee the transition and transformation of a global service desk operations and end-user support managed services agreement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex transitions that require significant change management, including frequent executive updates. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving a global service desk transition and transformation.
Job Title : Senior Program Manager
Location : Remote, ideally resides in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Minnesota
Pay Range : $75-95 / hour depending on experience
This role is open to W2 or C2C
What's the Job?
- Lead and manage the end-to-end transition and transformation of managed global service desk operations, focusing on end user support and field support services, in addition to application support
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead daily and weekly governance and steering committee meetings
- Liaison between the current vendor, new vendor and client
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in service desk operations and project management.
- Use of the established PMO standards to manage projects
- Collaborate with the end user experience team to deliver the highest quality end user experience
- Partner with the communications team to create end user change management plan to ensure seamless transition for end users
