We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing high-quality glass installation and repair services. Duties
- Perform installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass. Replacing glass on cars, SUVs, trucks, semis, and heavy equipment.
- Pull and Install glass and perform rock chip repairs in shop as well as mobile.
- Help with warehouse inventory, including receiving and returning parts as well as doing routine inventory count.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to ensure precise setting and secure attachment of glass.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the vehicle is returned in optimal condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding services performed.
Skills
- Proficiency in auto glass repair and replacement techniques.
- Must have a driver's license.
- Strong knowledge of glass installation processes and techniques.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools specific to automotive glass work.
- Possess communication skills to work with coworkers and office staff to resolve issues and work effectively.
- Attention to detail in both assembly tasks and final inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
