Host/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier/To Go to join our dynamic team in a very fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.

The proposed schedule:

Friday 3pm-7pm , Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
• Take to go orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing exceptional guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service delivery.
• Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette for managing take out orders and guest inquiries effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on helping guests.
