What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Rehabilitation position at Expert Healthcare Solutions?
We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation. They will manage rehabilitation programs, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists ,and Speech Therapists.
Monday-Friday no weekend rotation, 40 hours. 100 bed SNF
Responsibilities
- Staff management: Supervise and mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and handle discipline
- Patient care: Coordinate care with medical professionals, assess patient progress, and advocate for patients
- Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Budget management: Oversee the budget and resource allocation for the department
- Communication: Represent the organization to patients, families, and other stakeholders
- Collaboration: Work with other disciplines, such as physical and occupational therapy, to develop individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Formal training and qualifications in a health services field, such as physical or occupational therapy
- Knowledge of best practices and evidence-based medicine
- Leadership skills, including the ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to meet regulatory requirements
