This person will schedule and notify technician of assignments and enter necessary data into computer database. Performs related work as required. Job Responsibilities: o Primary responsibility is customer service. o Communicates with customers to determine their needs. o Supports service technicians. o Maintains customer repair records using computer database to give detailed history of the work performed at their sites. o Maintain dispatching board to ensure maximum efficient capacity of technicians. o Know and understand service work order module and service contract. o Active in all facets of dispatch. o Various reporting responsibilities as needed. o Other duties as required. Requirements needed in order to be considered for this position: o Requires a high school diploma...additional education a plus. o Previous dispatching/customer service experience. o Experience and utilizing judgment in order to plan and accomplish goals. o Follow up and follow through with technicians and customers to help maintain good customer relationships. o Knowledge of Service Titan a plus. Ideal candidates will have the following customer service-related skills: o A professional and courteous telephone manner. o Ability to handle a multiple-lined phone system...GPS system and dispatch to multiple field technicians. o Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day. o Able to identify and handle the urgency of each task, and work in a high-stress position. o Is detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. o Basic computer skills to include the following: o Proficient w/Microsoft outlook excel and word. o Strong interpersonal skills such as, communication, problem solving, and organizational. o Perform a variety of tasks; works under general supervision of the office manager. o General office duties may include filing, sorting, answering phones in a CSR role, greeting customers, etc. Additional skills that will be considered: o Previous HVAC and/or Plumbing knowledge or experience helpful. o Familiar with standard concepts of HVAC and/or Plumbing helpful.
