Expert Staffing West is seeking an experienced Assembler 2 for a leading manufacturer in the city of Chino, Ca.
Position Summary: Under close supervision, assembles small parts, capacitors, switches, and related components into cabinets; fabricates various sub-assemblies; and does other work as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works primarily with other assemblers and is responsible for consistently meeting quality and production standards.
- Operates forklift to move pallets and cabinets only if trained and certified.
- Assembles capacitor racks.
- Installs oil switches, copper fuse holders, insulation, mountings, porcelain, links, and louver cover.
- Drills and installs glastic fittings.
- Build transformer brackets.
- Verifies correct clearances and hole diameters given blueprints.
- Operates air sanders to debur door handles
- Operates mini-punches, grinders, band saws, impact wrenches, hand tools, etc.
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Makes up small hardware parts.
- Cleans and maintains work area.
- Can work with little to no supervision.
Mathematical Ability:
Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10’s and 100’s/ Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
