Expert Staffing West is seeking a Facilities Technician I in Chino California for an industry leading manufacturer.
The Facilities Technician is in charge of the Cleanliness of the Warehouse/ shop
floor. Responsible for smaller general maintenance requests, assembly of
furniture, office relocations, and small Facility improvements, as assigned through
the CMM. Maintains the Facility Tool Cabinets and Equipment by company and
manufacturer standards. As well as helps to maintain the facility through
preventative maintenance tasks and assignments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy routine cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to the facility
• Use of hand tools to construct pallets, boxes, Crates etc..
• Organization and upkeep of all facility tools and equipment (floor sweeper
and floor Scrubber)
• Cardboard management
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Ability to drive forklift, scissor lift, floor sweeper, floor scrubber
• Light Maintenance, painting, moving furniture.
• Computer literate, knowledge of/ ability to send an email.
• Ability to work with different departments.
• Organizational skills inventory control
• Loading and unloading of shipments
• Housekeeping visual and physical upkeep of shop floor and pallet racks
• Mechanically inclined ability to disassemble parts or cabinets for
refurbishment or spare parts.
• Help with yard maintenance and upkeep.
• Boxing and/or reboxing of parts and components
• Moving of parts and products inside the shop and outside in the yard
• Inspection of office area for cleanliness
• Organization of housekeeping supplies in designated areas

Physical Requirements:
• Lifting: may need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Movement: may need to bend, move, walk, stand, reach, stoop, kneel,
crouch, and push or pull.
• Vision: Facilities managers need close vision and the ability to adjust their
focus. They also need to be able to see details of objects that are more than
a few feet away.
• Hearing: need to be able to hear sounds and recognize the difference
between them. They may also need to be able to focus on one source of
sound and ignore others.
• Dexterity: need to be able to use their fingers to grasp, move, or assemble
very small objects. They also need to be able to make quick, precise
adjustments to machine controls.
• Working conditions: may work in adverse weather conditions. They may be
exposed to intense noises, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation,
chemicals, and oils
