What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grinder II position at Expert Staffing West?
Expert Staffing West is currently looking for a Grinder Operator who is responsible for setting up and operating grinding machines to shape, sharpen, and polish metal parts.
1st Shift: Monday - Friday
DOE: Pay $21 - $24
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Operate electric and air grinding equipment to shape various surfaces
• Operates drill press, hand drill, hand saw, and other tools to assist other operations
• Check grinding equipment for safe operation
• Set up, operate, and maintain grinding machines
• Select grinding wheels and other related tools
• Use grinding equipment to round corners, tighten edges, and smooth surfaces for cabinet doors, walls, frames, and small parts
• Assist in performing sheet metal fabrication work
• Operates drill press to ream tubes, hand drills to ream door handles, and makes holes in sheet metal
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 year of related experience.
