What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Expert Staffing West?
We are needing someone to look at all the products received from the night before and send us reports along with pictures to our sales staff on a daily basis.
A produce company that brings in many different types of vegetable mainly
Green Onions
Radish
Parsley’s
Kale
Beets
Cilantro
Cabbage
Celery
Broccoli
On those items we might receive from multiple growers so there will be say 3-4 different growers daily so there might be multiple inspections done daily on those items.
There will be times that we will need that person to go into the cooler and find a particular lot and give a report on that particular shipment.
It is working in the cold room (34 degrees) that person will be picking up boxes anywhere from 20-45 pounds at times. There will be a lot of ice in the boxes, some of the pallets can be tall (close to 6’).
