Our client is seeking qualified Assemblers and Operators to join their team Southbridge, MA. These are temp to hire roles with a growing manufacturing company.
Starting Rate: $16.50/Hr
Schedule: 1st & 2nd shifts
Assembler/Operator Job Duties:
- Set up and operate various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers.
- Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications
- Utilize machinery such as grinders, lathes, polishing machines, or other surface finishing equipment.
- Prepare the machines by loading and securing the workpieces (such as metal, wood, or other materials) onto the machines.
- Performs routine machine/equipment maintenance and inspection.
- Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.
- Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
- Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers
Assembler/Operator Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
