What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Warehouse Coordinator position at Expert Staffing?
Our client is seeking qualified Bilingual 2nd shift Warehouse Coordinators! In this vital role, you’ll ensure the smooth flow of products in our frozen and dry goods warehouse, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move and store products
- Unload inbound shipments and ensure proper product storage
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, maintaining high accuracy
- Fulfill work orders in real time using RF technology and ERP applications
- Perform daily cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories
- Maintain a clean, secure, and orderly warehouse environment
- Monitor and report on inventory accuracy, following FIFO principles
- Ensure product safety and report any food safety concerns
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and warehousing processes
- Proficient in forklift operation
- Comfortable working in cold storage environments (-10°F to 24°F)
- Ability to communicate effectively with Freight suppliers, Import/Export, Freight forwarders, Packaging/Corrugated vendors, Manufacturing personnel, Customer Service, Engineering, Finance and other company personnel as required
- Experience with RF technology and ERP applications is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and operating equipment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud noise, temperature extremes, and allergens (fish, shellfish, nuts, eggs, wheat, soy, milk and coconut.
- Working in extreme cold, heat, rain, snow, dust, smoke and odors.
- Must be able to lift, bend, and operate heavy equipment safely
