Our client in the Springfield area is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our quality systems and ensuring that all products are safe and effective for consumer use.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and company standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines, to assess product specifications accurately.
- Implement and monitor quality management systems, including HACCP protocols, to ensure food safety and quality assurance.
- Perform regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Operate vision inspection systems to detect defects or inconsistencies in products during production.
- Document inspection results, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to facilitate corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or production environment.
