At ExpertCare, we support individuals with disabilities in reaching their full potential. We are currently looking for an afternoon caregiver to assist a 17-year-old female in Flat Rock, Wayne County with developmental and physical disabilities.

About the Role:

Location: Flat Rock, Wayne County, MI
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Afternoons

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and dressing
• Help with mobility, including safe lifting and transfers
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Encourage skill development and daily living independence
• Offer respite care for guardians
• Maintain a clean, organized space
• Monitor health concerns, including seizure precautions

Requirements to Apply:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Active car insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Available for afternoon shifts
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers
