Caregiver for Special Needs

We are currently looking for a caring and compassionate Direct Care Worker in the Novi area to join our team. Hours are flexible for work-life balance,afternoon availability required.No experience necessary! Apply now!

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18
• Be able to pass a background and driving record check
• Valid driver’s license with car insurance
• Clean driving record (No more than 3 points currently)
• Reliably show up to shifts (Afternoon shifts ranging from 3pm to 5pm starting time)
• Caregivers must complete required training before starting with their recipient (we will provide paid training after job offer)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate one to one support in homes
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, dressing, hygiene prompting as required
• Work with the recipient on the goals in their individual plan of service to help them become as independent as possible (these goals vary)
• Help provide engaging and stimulating activities
• Monitor and ensure the individual’s safety and well-being
• Implement care plans
• Engage in skill-building activities that empower and encourage growth
• Help individuals nurture their personal goals
