Location: Farmington, MI (Oakland County)
Schedule: Afternoons & Evenings (Start time after 2 PM)
Compensation: $15.20 - $16.20/hour (based on case assignment)
What You’ll Do:
As a part-time caregiver with ExpertCare, you’ll provide essential support to adults with disabilities in their residential homes. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily hygiene routines while encouraging independence.
- Supporting household tasks and teaching skills like chore completion.
- Helping clients follow directions and build confidence.
- Creating a safe and supportive environment for personal growth.
- Following personalized care plans and adhering to ExpertCare guidelines.
What You Bring to the Role:
We’re looking for compassionate and reliable individuals who:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Can work in clients’ homes and community settings, like parks or libraries.
- Have strong attendance habits and dependability.
- Possess patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Are willing to complete background checks.
- Can participate in required online training and attend two in-person sessions in Troy, MI.
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is a plus but not required—we’ll provide the training you need to succeed!
