Job Type : Full Time Location : Glendale, Arizona Pay : Good pay and benefits! Job Description What you will be doing : Director of Nursing Surgical Services
Establish and enforce policies, procedures, standards, and objectives.
Direct and supervise staff and workflow.
Maintain budgetary or fiscal accountability.
Ensure the ongoing effective operation of the assigned Nursing department 24 / 7.
Support the hospital's mission, vision, goals, and objectives while focusing on the customers.
Oversee continuous assessment, improvement, coordination, and integration of departmental services.
Approve timekeeping and employee evaluations.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Approve supply orders and participate in departmental strategic planning.
Experience you will need : Director of Nursing Surgical Services
Bachelor's degree in nursing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent minimum experience.
Preferred : MSN.
Minimum of five years' experience in nursing management in a hospital setting.
Progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or director.
Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider.
Preferred Certification / Registration : For Wound Care - WOCN.
3 years of hospital experience in surgical services / OR is a must have.
