Job Description
What you will be doing :
Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues related to Civil Litigation and Workers Compensation.
Draft legal documents including pleadings motions discovery requests briefs and contracts.
Prepare for and participate in depositions hearings and trials.
Manage case files deadlines and client communication.
Advise clients on legal strategies and options.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and staff within the firm.
May be required to travel for depositions hearings and trials.
Experience you will need :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
Experience practicing law in Virginia with a strong emphasis on Civil Litigation and Workers Compensation.
Excellent research writing and analytical skills.
Proficiency in legal research databases and software.
