Job Description

What you will be doing :

  • Oversee the planning organization and coordination of daily revenue cycle operations.
  • Ensure effective processes for charge capture claims processing and overall revenue collections.
  • Responsible for all aspects of patient access to services authorization charge capture payor contracting financial support and billing and collection activities.
  • Manage authorization claims management processes and controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness of claim submissions.
  • Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures related to the revenue cycle.
  • Direct and supervise staff in technical and clerical aspects of patient billing and collection.
  • Monitor denials management and determine corrective action plans.
  • Use routine monitoring reports to ensure billing and collection goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain trending models projections and performance benchmarking analyses.
  • Supervise patient billing and collections staff including hiring and training.

Experience you will need :

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of revenue cycle experience with five years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in system implementation or enhancement.
  • Exposure in oncology and / or imaging settings highly preferred.
  • Strong professional leadership and financial skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and EMR knowledge including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in introducing new revenue cycle solutions and capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to direct organizational efforts towards tangible results.
  • Possess the energy to create a passionate hardworking team.
