Job Description
What you will be doing :
Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
Administer employee benefits, including health insurance enrollments and cancellations, COBRA management, and 401k distributions.
Coordinate new hire onboarding, including setting up key fobs and Gusto profiles, and acting as the point of contact for new hires prior to their start date.
Conduct HR orientation for new hires, covering company policies, benefits options, payroll schedules, and system overviews (e.g., Gusto, Notion).
Ensure compliance with key policies, including the Anti-Harassment Policy, PTO Policy, and WFH Policy.
Handle offboarding duties such as deactivating key fobs, updating Gusto and benefits systems, and processing benefits cancellations.
Maintain employee files and documentation, ensuring that records are up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
Assist with office events and physical office space maintenance.
Manage office communications and maintain key fob inventory.
Provide support for office-related administrative tasks as needed (e.g., working with Tannya / Office Admin / Receptionist).
Assist in creating job descriptions and posting job openings on various platforms.
Source candidates, conduct first-round screening, and schedule / coordinating interviews.
Create and deliver offer letters and assist with start date coordination and onboarding plans.
Manage relationships with third-party recruiters, review candidate submissions, and relay feedback.
Experience you will need :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant HR experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle both HR and administrative duties effectively.
Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Gusto) and office administration tools (e.g., Notion).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
