Responsibilities :
Cultivate and lead a safe and confident learning environment for students to strive for and meet ambitious targets.
Engage all students across grades with classical content through a deep mastery and love for the art form.
Foster an inviting, growth-oriented classroom environment for academic and character formation.
Implement a classically-inspired, inquiry-based curriculum aligned with national and state standards.
Utilize innovative teaching strategies that resonate with diverse learners.
Cultivate higher-order thinking skills in students to enhance their analytical, creative, synthesizing, and evaluating abilities.
Utilize assessment data to strengthen student achievement through targeted interventions and personalized instruction.
Develop strong connections with students and families to foster a passion for learning and academic success.
Foster productive relationships with colleagues, parents, and the community while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution, preferably within the content area.
Possession of current NJ Music teaching certification.
Experience leading students from diverse cultural, economic, and ability backgrounds is preferred.
Dedication to providing all students with an academically robust, inspiring, and joyful learning experience.
Commitment to the educational mission of the school in service to the school community.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
