Job Type : Full Time Location : Pine Bluff, Arkansas Pay : Good pay and benefits! Job Description What you will be doing : Operations Manager
Manage all aspects of production
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Optimize processes for efficiency
Lead a team of skilled personnel
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Ensure proper implementation and following of safety, quality, shipping, and production practices and procedures
Assume department cost responsibility
Develop operations budget
Manage costs to deliver the budget
Deliver against ongoing cost savings efforts and challenges
Complete monthly operations metrics to ensure the facility is running at peak performance and to achieve operational excellence
Develop personnel for succession planning and ensure the team has the required skills to meet business needs
Experience you will need : Operations Manager
Certification in Safety or Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
High level of leadership skills, organizational planning, teamwork, and analytical reasoning
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
5 years in a management role
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as ERP systems and production planning tools
Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and oral form
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong interpersonal, technical, and presentation skills required
Bachelor's Degree (Technical or Business Administration preferred)
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
