Ensure safety is paramount during all phases of the projects.
Manage and coordinate facilities and construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with stakeholders including facilities management, operations, and maintenance teams.
Work with external contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
Develop and manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure minimal impact on timelines and budgets.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, project sponsors, vendors, and community leaders.
Experience you will need :
BS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge and 7 years of experience in facilities and construction project management.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Project management software expertise, including scheduling and budgeting tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Familiarity with LEAN and continuous improvement systems (TPM certification; 5S; Six Sigma).
Experience with drawings, blueprints, and CAD as well as Microsoft Office, Procore or PlanGrid.
Knowledge of engineering standards (ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ISO, IEC, OSHA).
Certification in project management (PMP, LEED AP, CCM, etc.).
Experience with sustainable design and energy-efficient systems.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
