Job Summary :
The School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide highquality instruction and support for students with disabilities in a supportive and inclusive environment. This position involves developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) collaborating with staff and families and fostering student growth and achievement.
Key Responsibilities :
Instruction and Curriculum Development :
Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities.
- Develop lesson plans and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
- Implement evidencebased instructional strategies to foster student engagement and achievement.
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) :
Develop review and implement IEPs in collaboration with parents staff and specialists.
Classroom Management :
Create a safe inclusive and structured learning environment.
Collaboration :
Work closely with general education teachers paraprofessionals and specialists to provide appropriate support for students in both selfcontained and inclusive settings.
Professional Development :
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed of best practices in special education.
