Overview
The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, customers, or partners to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, engagement and business growth. This position involves understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions to ensure a positive experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Experience:
- Effectively utilize company reporting, including but not limited to the receivables report, to ascertain the status of active files.
- Communicate with firms to gather case information and service request details as required under company policy for submission, gathering information, and underwriting.
- Coordinate with the Chief Operating Officer on preparation, revision, and execution of DPAs and OTPAs in active files.
- Maintain current, active, and accurate records for firms and attorney information within the portal.
- Work in conjunction with firms, experts, and service providers to ensure expert services are provided in a timely manner.
- Collect and organize information and documents for payment for expert services, or as otherwise requested by a firm or senior management.
Client Success:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to drive satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to enhance client experience.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor and track customer feedback to improve relationship strategies.
- Business development coordination with the Chief Legal Officer.
Administrative:
- Provide support to executives and/or teams by handling day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Ensure smooth office operations by managing calls, schedules, communications, and documentation.
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with data-entry, record-keeping, and portal management.
- Provide support to departments and senior management as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Education and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
- At least five (5) years in relationship management, business development, or client services preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service and conflict resolution expertise.
- Attention to detail for precise analysis of data.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and motivation to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work with teams and collaborate.
- Time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Travel
Local - if needed. Frequent travel to target markets that can be local or out of state.
Expected Hours of Work
This role requires availability outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
