Position Overview : The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our organization's network and systems. You will be instrumental in protecting sensitive information, preventing cyber threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Network Security : Implement, monitor, and manage security measures to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure against cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and VPNs.
• Threat Analysis & Response : Proactively analyze network traffic, logs, and other data sources to identify potential security threats. Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.
• Vulnerability Management : Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses in the system. Develop remediation plans and implement security patches.
• Security Policies & Procedures : Assist in the creation, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a secure environment for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Security Tools Management : Utilize and manage security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), antivirus software, encryption tools, and other technologies to monitor and protect systems.
• Compliance & Audits : Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001). Prepare for and participate in regular security audits and assessments.
• Collaboration & Training : Work closely with other departments, such as IT and software development, to integrate security practices into their workflows. Provide security training and awareness programs for staff members.
• Incident Documentation & Reporting : Maintain thorough documentation of security incidents, including root cause analysis, remediation steps, and preventative measures.
