As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and drive financial strategy in alignment with our ambitious goals.

Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee the financial activities of the corporation, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. They are responsible for tracking cash flow and financial planning and analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing strategic directions. The CFO is accountable to both the organization and various regulatory entities and authorities, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in publicly held companies. They are well-versed in both generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and state and federal regulations, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership :

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Provide insightful financial analysis to guide executive decision-making.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

Accounting and Compliance :

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations.

Lead annual audits, quarterly filings, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Maintain internal controls and risk management practices.

Public Company Responsibilities :

Prepare quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations, and SEC filings.

Monitor stock performance and provide guidance on capital market strategies.

Serve as the secondary liaison with investors, analysts, and external stakeholders.

Manufacturing and Operations Support :

Partner with the operations team to optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiencies.

Analyze production costs and margins to identify areas for improvement.

Treasury and Cash Management :

Oversee cash flow management, debt structuring, and banking relationships.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize working capital and liquidity.

Leadership and Team Building :

Mentor and lead the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Collaborate with other departments to align financial and operational goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly manages the accounting team

Delivers work product that is accurate and within designated timelines.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.

Three to Five years of experience in financial management with a public company required.

Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.

Eight to ten years of experience in financial management preferred.

Excellent management and supervisory skills.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Computer literacy required (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project).

NetSuite ERP literacy preferred.
