Overview
We are seeking a skilled ADAS System Engineer to work on the design, development, and integration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements to ensure proper functionality.
Responsibilities
- Define and document system requirements for ADAS features based on customer specifications and use cases.
- Develop system architecture, considering functional, performance, and safety requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ADAS systems with vehicle platforms and other subsystems.
- Analyze high-level requirements from OEMs and map them to subsystem or component-level requirements.
- Ensure traceability of requirements using tools like DOORS, Polarion, or Jama.
- Maintain alignment with safety-critical standards such as ISO 26262.
- Define and execute test plans for system-level validation of ADAS features.
- Support testing in various environments, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), and vehicle-level testing.
- Act as the technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal teams for ADAS system development.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on system-level decisions.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to resolve issues during the development and validation process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Essential skills
- ADAS Knowledge:
- Familiarity with ADAS features such as ACC, LKA, AEB, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Parking Assistance.
- Understanding of sensor technologies (e.g., camera, LiDAR, RADAR) and their integration into ADAS systems.
- Requirements Management: Proficiency in tools like DOORS, Polarion, or Jama.
- System Design: Experience in system-level design and architecture for automotive applications.
- Standards Compliance: Strong understanding of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ASPICE, and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity).
