Chassis - Brake Pipe design Engineer
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing brake system piping components (e.g., brake lines, hoses).
- Creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Catia V6 and Enovia PLM.
- Performing assembly studies and packaging brake systems within the vehicle.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., chassis, vehicle integration, production).
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical support.
- Communicating design requirements and solutions to suppliers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Essential skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Software: Proficiency in CAD software – Catia V6 and Enovia PLM
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of brake system principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience: Experience in automotive chassis design, particularly brake systems, is highly desirable.
- Other: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
