Electronics/Hardware Systems Architect

EXPLEO GROUP USA is currently hiring an Electronics/Hardware Systems Architect to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Troy, MI.

Responsibilities:

• The Platform System Architect is responsible for system architecture design and development of the overall system solutions and technologies in line with platform standards, market demands, customer needs, deliverables and technology development roadmap.
• You will actively participate in vision & fusion automotive ECU solutions from advanced or RFI/RFQ phases to SOP.

• 3 or more years of Practical experience as a System Engineer, System Design Engineer, Product Development Engineer. System/ Hardware or Software Architect.
• Mechatronics product developmental experience - preferably within the ADAS/IVI automotive industry following ASPICE process and V-model Methodology.
• Vision/ fusion products and video/ data processing pipelines experience - e.g.: understanding of video capture, transmission, processing, storage, and compression by SoCs in different formats and resolution specs.
• Multi-core SoC and MCUs architecture experience - in the context of key compute cores and peripherals as well as type and level of functionality (SW) to be hosted on each IP available.
• Multiple chip technologies experience or working knowledge - eg: Memory (LPDDR3/4/5, NOR, NAND), Ethernet Phy/Switch, SerDes, Transceiver.
• Product/ System requirements elicitation experience with corresponding system/ product architecture documentations and presentations.
• Agile, proactive, confident, self-organized, energetic, adaptable team player.
• ADAS/IVI automotive industry experience is a plus, but open to assessing candidates from defense, aerospace, or consumer electronics industries developing vision products like cameras, set-top boxes, TV's Displays.
• Direct relations with customers and suppliers are a plus.
• Automotive SPICE experience is an advantage.
