Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex IT projects, including a large-scale migration from on-premise systems to Google’s Advanced Data Lake
- Oversee end-to-end project execution—from planning to delivery—ensuring all goals are met on time and within budget (up to $5M)
- Manage stakeholder communications across divisions and governance bodies, building alignment and driving action
- Run pre-configured metric reports to support divisional performance tracking and executive decision-making
- Serve as the subject matter expert on project management best practices and PMI methodologies
- Facilitate problem-solving with senior technical teams and support long-term strategic planning
- Strictly adhere to institutional budget and project management guidelines
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 10 years of experience managing complex IT projects (or 7 years with a Master’s; 12 years with an Associate’s)
- Deep knowledge of PMI Process Groups and a proven track record leading multi-faceted IT initiatives
- PMP Certification (required)
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders, technical teams, and priorities
- Experience navigating matrixed environments with vendor/contractor teams
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, especially Advanced Data Lake projects
- Familiarity with healthcare IT environments
- Experience leading enterprise data modernization or analytics transformation efforts
Education & Certifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience
- OR Master’s Degree with 7 years
- OR Associate’s Degree with 12 years
- PMP Certification is required (or must be obtained within 3 years of hire)
