2025-2026 Elementary School Principal

Explore Academy is seeking to hire a highly motivated and inspirational Elementary School Principal for grades K-5 for the 2025-2026 school year. At Explore the Principal serves as an advocate for the Explore Learning Model and its underlying practices: thematic standards-based instruction, student voice and choice, and seminar-style classrooms. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated past success in leading teachers to increase and sustain student achievement, fostering social emotional learning, implementing evidence-based instructional practices, and managing a campus facility. The Principal should be a strong team player and effective communicator who works closely with staff, students, and the community to build a culture of belonging, respect, and a growth mindset. The Principal will represent the school in all capacities, instructional and administrative. They will be responsible for smooth day-to-day operations of the school and should have experience in creating, implementing, and refining efficient systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of standards-based backwards planning, early literacy and foundational skills instruction, and data-driven collaboration to ensure equitable support for all students.

Salary: From $85,000.00 per year

Start Date: July 1, 2025. Contract work will be required in the spring of 2025 in preparation for the launch of the K-5 program (contract work will be stipended)
