Some essential duties of this position include the following :
Infrastructure Management
Plan, configure and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers.
Manage VMware virtual environments and related infrastructure.
Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), and directory services to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Backup and Disaster Recovery
Manage and monitor backups using Veeam Backup & Replication.
Perform routine checks and testing of backup integrity and disaster recovery plans.
User and System Support
Set up and configure PCs, laptops, and mobile devices for new hires.
Respond to and resolve technical support requests from users regarding network access, software applications, and hardware issues.
Host training sessions for end-users on software and system usage.
Network Administration
Monitor and administer network performance, maintaining logs and ensuring uptime.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect network resources.
Manage network printing and technical resources effectively.
Cloud and Mobile Device Management
Support and manage Microsoft Intune for mobile device management and endpoint security.
Oversee cloud-based application deployments and updates.
Technical Strategy and Documentation
Research and recommend hardware and software solutions that align with organizational needs.
Maintain detailed documentation for all IT systems to include hardware inventories, software configurations and procedures.
On-Call Support Other
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency IT support outside of standard working hours.
Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management.
Work a flexible schedule as required to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Skills
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure. Ability to create and run scripts in Powershell, VB, and Bash.
Demonstrated experience with the following : Active Directory, Group Policies and Windows Server Environments, patching windows devices on large networks, managing VMware virtualization and Veeam Backup solutions.
