Position Summary
TXT-LABS is seeking a creative and motivated Web Designer / UI / UX Designer for a Federal Work-Study position. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of IT consulting projects, including educational technology initiatives. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces that enhance user experiences across our web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for various web and mobile applications, ensuring they are visually appealing and user-friendly.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Maintain design guidelines, style guides, and UI patterns to ensure consistency across projects.
- Ensure all designs are optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
Key Qualifications
We serve young men of color between the 7th and 11th grade who are from low-income communities. Since 2009, we’ve used the concept of developing strong teams as a way for our young men to learn about collaboration, ideation, and long-lasting life skills.
