Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Managing Scientist/Engineer for our Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice in Burlington, MA. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide technical analysis on existing projects and business development efforts.
You will be responsible for
- Providing support to clients and to your team in Exponent’s Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice
- Supporting multidisciplinary project teams on exciting and challenging projects
- Investing in your professional development
- Attending conference presentations and participating in journal publications
- Expanding your professional visibility
- Developing client relationships
You will have the following skills and qualifications
- An M.Sc., M.Eng., or Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Three to five (3-5) years of environmental litigation support experience with a consulting company in the USA is a must
- 5 years of non-academic experience in the field of environmental sciences (consulting experience a plus)
- Familiarity with environmental chemistry, contaminant fate and transport, and/or allocation is a plus
- Strong interest in career and professional development within a dynamic consulting environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills
- Detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
