Expresio Comm is looking for an experienced Public Relations Coordinator to join its dynamic team. The PR Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for the planning, execution, and implementation of strategic public relations campaigns for our clients and managing corporate communications and media relations.
The ideal candidate is a great communicator, organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for public relations who is up to date with current PR trends and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research media opportunities, schedule press events and write press releases
• Identify and leverage relationships with key media contacts
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor media coverage and track key metrics
• Cultivate media story ideas that will generate coverage and achieve results
• Handle several client accounts simultaneously and manage projects from start to finish
• Monitor industry news & trends to ensure proactive PR opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PR / communications related role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as social media platforms
• Excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and public speaking skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Knowledge of current public relations techniques and trends
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
