Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle repairs and services.
- Conduct thorough service writing to document customer requests and vehicle issues accurately.
- Align customer expectations with available services, providing clear explanations of repair processes and timelines.
- Collaborate with technicians to diagnose automotive issues, ensuring accurate automotive diagnostics are performed.
- Prepare detailed auto estimating for repair costs, including parts and labor estimates.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various automotive repair services, including diesel engine repair and auto body repair.
- Suspend any service that may not align with customer needs or safety standards, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Drive sales by promoting additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance or safety.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
Skills
- Proficiency in service writing with attention to detail in documentation.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including automotive service and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with auto estimating techniques to provide accurate quotes for repairs.
- Experience in diesel engine repair is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns efficiently and effectively.
