Auto Body Shop Assistant – Entry-Level Support Role

Position Overview
As an Auto Body Shop Assistant, you’ll support the daily operations of our hail repair team. From moving vehicles and helping with basic shop tasks to prepping cars for technicians and keeping the work area clean—you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.
No experience in auto body work? No problem. We’ll train you on everything you need to know.
What You’ll Do
- Assist techs with light prep and clean-up work on vehicles
- Move vehicles safely around the lot or into bays
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with basic supplies
- Help with minor tasks like taping, wiping down cars, or labeling parts
- Communicate with the front desk and team leads to keep jobs on schedule
- Perform other general duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, on-time, and hardworking
- Able to work on your feet and lift 25–50 lbs
- Comfortable being indoors/outdoors and around vehicles
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Previous shop or mechanic experience is a bonus, but not required
Schedule & Pay
- Flexible part-time hours (typically Monday–Friday, half Saturdays if possible)
- 40 hours per week
- Pay range: $16–$20/hour depending on experience
- Weekly performance bonuses
- 1099 contract position
