Mail Processor

This is a part-time job.

The working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:30:00 AM - 2:30 PM. The working hours on Wednesday are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

The starting pay is $12 per hour.

The duties of this job will include helping to process our customers' mail and submit it to the USPS using postal machines like a mail machine and letter sorter. You will flip through the mail to ensure the postage and barcode are properly applied to the envelope. After it is looked at, all mail will go into a 2-foot tray. All mail trays will be tagged, palletized, and shrink-wrapped to be submitted to the USPS at the end of the day. On Wednesdays, you will run a route that has 14 stops on it. These stops do not change and are at the same time and place. You will use a company vehicle that has a gas card in it while doing the route. Someone will ride with you to teach you the route before you do it on your own. Additional duties may include learning other afternoon routes as a backup driver.

You MUST undergo a background check

You MUST have a clean driving record and a valid NC Driver's license

You MUST have at least 3 years of driving experience

You MUST be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground without assistance

You MUST have a reliable form of transportation to get to and from work

You MUST be able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment and work well under time restrictions

You MUST be able to start immediately

You MUST be able to drive a box truck

Responsibilities:

- Accurately and promptly check mail pieces for postage and barcode correctness

-Safely operate a company vehicle to transport our customers' mail to designated locations

-Load and unload mail, ensuring proper handling and securing of items/mail trays

-Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pickup/delivery of mail

-Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Experience:

-Physical fitness and the ability to perform heavy lifting are required.
