Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining effective patient throughput. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work 12-hour shifts, and the capacity to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure
- Generate CD copies of patient images
- Document patient information into the EMR
- Measure and record vital signs
- Conduct rapid lab tests
- Accurately record lab results in the EMR
Requirements:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent
- Certifications: ARRT Certification; Maryland State Radiographer License
- Experience: Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital
Salary : $35 - $40
