What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Contractor/Medical Courier Driver position at Express Courier of New England?
We are an established courier company focused in the medical field. We’re seeking dedicated Independent Contractor drivers for on-demand courier work in the Salem, Windham and Nashua areas.
Job Types

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Use of Own vehicle
- Comfortable with using a smart phone.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years' old.
- Previous driver/courier experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Very punctual with strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Responsibilities
- Load all necessary supplies needed for the pickup.
- Complete pick up in a timely manner
- Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed.
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
Compensation: Competitive payment on a per-job basis.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.78 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- No nights
