Position Overview
The Manager of Endpoint Configuration and Security will lead a dynamic team of Endpoint Engineers and Administrators. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management and maintenance of all endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, across the organization. The Manager will oversee the deployment, configuration, and security compliance of endpoints through tools like Microsoft Intune, Patch My PC, and Autopilot.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Endpoint Engineers and Administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Endpoint Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of endpoints using Microsoft Intune, ensuring that all devices are secure, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies.
- Patch Management: Implement and manage patching processes for Windows and applications using Intune and Patch My PC, ensuring timely updates and mitigations of vulnerabilities.
- Autopilot Management: Administer and support Autopilot deployments, streamlining the provisioning and configuration of new devices.
- Policy Management: Develop, deploy, and manage Intune policies to ensure endpoint security and compliance.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure endpoint compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards and provide regular reports to the cybersecurity team.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide tier-3 support for endpoint-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams to resolve complex problems.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to endpoint management processes and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Endpoint Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Patch My PC, and Autopilot.
- Experience with Windows and application patch management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar.
- Experience with other endpoint management tools and technologies.
