Basic Function
Assist the Zone Sales Manager with maintaining and communicating with the field regarding current Sales Programs (Raptor Club, Level Up, Quarterly Blitzes). Manage the Zone Sales inbox, maintain the Sales Program intranet site/landing page, maintain the Zone Sales (Developers & Zone VPs) distribution email list, maintain the Developer/Office list, distribute invoices, set up department meetings, and manage written communications and various other projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is required. Critical thinking/ Analytical skills and Attention to details are a must. Must possess abstract ideas and put structure around them. Experience with Microsoft Live Meeting would be beneficial.
Relationship Management: Build trust. Develop and manage relationships within HQ, the field sales team and franchisees. Involve appropriate stakeholders throughout the sales and development process. Work closely with team members to ensure communication is transparent and alignment of deliverables are met. Ask open questions for clarity and validation. Seek first to understand.
Typical Requirements
Requires good written and verbal communication skills, as well as advanced knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Forms) and an operational knowledge of audio-visual technology (sound and projection systems). Experience in creating formal presentations and professional documents (from start to finish) is required. Must be a self-starter, well-organized, detail-oriented, creative and dependable, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task. Ability to perform as part of a diverse team under limited supervision is mandatory. Must possess excellent people skills, along with a high level of professionalism, tact and diplomacy. A high degree of confidentiality is critical. Creativity and flexibility are key.
Minimum of three to five years related experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Essential Functions
Assist Zone Sales Manager with support elements including but not limited to scheduling, Outlook management, meeting planning, intranet website updates for all sales programs, preparing presentations using Power Point, Word or Excel. Organizational skills are essential.
Assist Zone Sales Manager which may include maintaining filing system, event registration support, data entry, or project documentation relating to the team.
Screen and process incoming telephone calls from developers and Zone VP’s. Sort/deliver/code incoming mail and invoices. Respond to and forward emails as needed. Maintain calendars, office supplies/organization, equipment, franchise office changes, material archives.
Decision Making:
Tasks are semi-routine and diversified as well as repetitive, requiring the use of several readily understood rules and procedures and requiring excellent judgment in the application of a wide range of established rules and procedures. Within the limits of standard practices, the employee must be able to take initiative to make decisions that could affect the efficiency, accuracy, or correctness of work. Must be logical in thought process.
Supervision:
General direction, work on routine projects from standard practices and procedures without close supervision but seek specific advice on questions within projects.
Accuracy, Accountability and Control:
Probable errors would be due to carelessness in most instances, and would be readily detected by standard check or routine crosscheck. The cost of correction is negligible.
Contacts:
Internal and external contacts are normally made with limited or no supervision and concern matters requiring explanation, discussion, interpretation or approvals.

Confidential information is handled in this position. Confidentiality is crucial.
Specialized Skill or Technical Knowledge
This position requires advanced knowledge of Windows-based software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Also requires working knowledge of conference room technology, use of computer and projection systems, as well as ability to grasp new programs (e.g., video and audio conferencing).
Working Conditions:
Prolonged sitting in office environment. Handles workload primarily through extensive use of computer programs, telephone and e-mail. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
