What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift General Labor/Forklift position at Express Employment International?
Help company in Northwood transload material from railcars and correctly inventory into terminal storage while utilizing inventory system. Offload material ranging from, but not limited to: Lumber, Steel, Free Flowing Materials. Assist with terminal maintenance ranging from, but not limited to weed whacking, mowing and spraying. This job will be outside in the elements, employee will need to dress accordingly.

- Must obtain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to stand, lean, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Able to pick up at least 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Self-motivated individual that can complete tasks without constant direct supervision.
- Demonstrate good judgment and logical thinking.
- Maintain good communication between other employees during work hours.
- Ability to work in direct sunlight, rain, and cold weather conditions during normal operation of equipment or hand tools and during normal operating hours.
- Must have time management skills and know how to multitask without negatively affecting performance.
