Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate various farm equipment, including tractors, planters, air seeders, sprayers, combines, sugar beet harvesters, tillage equipment, semi-tractors, and other farm machinery.
- Perform regular maintenance and servicing of farm equipment.
- Assist in repairing and maintaining farm equipment and farm buildings.
- Utilize and operate precision agriculture software and apps.
- Safely and accurately handle chemicals for field applications.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Prior experience operating farm equipment and ability to pass a skills assessment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving farm practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and reliability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of safe workplace practices.
- A valid and clear driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
