Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager

We have been retained by our client to perform a confidential search for an Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager for their location in Philadelphia. My client, a long time service provider to the gaming industry has locations in over 30 countries and is focused on growing market share in the US (NJ, PA, MI, CT).

The ideal person comes from an industry overseeing large volume workforce needs (hotel/casino, retail, restaurant). We need a strong leader who is comfortable challenging the current Head of Finance to innovate the department. Must be able to push the team forward, with innovating new best practices, implementing new efficiencies, and by being a strong communicator.

• 5 years experience in a similar role
• Analysis utilizing BI Systems
• Ability to understand differences in the effect of complex pricing structures
• Ability to identify key trends to display the "bigger picture"

You will oversee the day-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting by managing staff, analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations playing a key role in strategic financial planning and advising leadership on financial health.
