Job Details
- Salary: $120K
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Typically day shift, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility needed
- Lead the Continuous Improvement process (e.g., mindsets, practices, and culture).
- Develop, implement, and sustain a CI program based on Lean principles.
- Identify and define the scope of CI projects and activities.
- Leverage data and observational analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Teach and model root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Participate in Lean events and promote skill-transfer.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Management Operating Structure.
- Organize and execute business improvement activities.
- Coach and guide cross-functional teams to resolve assigned projects.
- Monitor data and metrics trends to identify areas of waste.
- Provide documentation and project updates to Operations leadership.
- Collaborate with all departments affected by CI projects.
- Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading high-value, complex cost-savings projects.
- Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.
- Ability to lead through influence, mentorship, and coaching.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships and foster change.
- Passion for safety and ability to maintain a respectful work environment.
- Mobility for broader assignments within the business unit and company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Three or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
