Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage water and wastewater capital projects, collaborating with staff, engineers, contractors, and the public to enhance service levels
• Prepare RFPs, select contractors, and oversee project contracts from conceptual studies through final design
• Negotiate utility easements, manage the bidding process, and ensure compliance with budgets, contracts, and schedules
• Advise on construction issues and negotiate change orders with contractors
• Ensure completion of as-built plans and review contractor pay estimates
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, or a closely related field
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience related to the design and construction of public water or wastewater systems
• Colorado Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire
