Express Employment Professionals is seeking a patient care specialist to work in an office environment and assist patients experiencing long-term pain and suffering from jaw-related injuries.
No prior dental office training is necessary, but previous dental experience can be beneficial for both you and the patients. We are eager to train a candidate who can meet the individual needs of our patients. Requirements for applying to this position include, but are not limited to:
- Taking directions and reporting specific information
- Listening to and assessing patient needs
- Working with a computer and learning new medical software
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Listening to, recording, and reporting on patients' progress, complications, and additional needs
- - Managing inventory and ordering all consumable dental products
- Assisting medical professionals chairside, including taking CT X-ray scans and selecting/printing images from those scans, pouring and trimming dental plaster molds, and tracking proper documentation during patients' visits with the doctor.
- Cleaning and disinfecting work areas and exam rooms
- Writing professional emails on behalf of the medical staff and mailing out patient thank-you cards.
