Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee financial aid operations, including Federal loans, Pell Grants, and clock-hour programs.
- Assist students and families with financial aid applications and questions.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Handle cash and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Develop and implement default management strategies.
- Prepare for and manage annual audits.
- Attend training sessions as needed (some travel may be required).
- Support school events that may require occasional flexible scheduling.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an education sector role.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Director of Financial Aid.
- Knowledge of Federal loans, Pell Grants, and default management strategies.
- Experience with clock-hour programs preferred (training available if needed).
- Strong cash handling and financial management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a small-school environment with personalized processes.
- Long-term position with stability.
