The Farm Operations Technician is a full-time benefited position that will assist in the raising of sugar beets, edible beans, hard red spring wheat, corn, and soybeans on a family-owned farm near Grand Forks, ND. The technician will be part of a team that operates various pieces of farm equipment to raise successful crops in the Red River Valley. This will include, but not limited to, operating planters, sprayers, harvesting equipment, and semi-tractors as well as using various ag related technology.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to operate various farm equipment including tractors, planters, air seeder, sprayer, combine, sugar beet harvester, tillage, semi-tractor, and various other farm equipment
- Ability to perform maintenance on farm equipment at regular service intervals
- Assist in repairing and maintaining farm equipment and buildings
- Ability to operate and utilize precision agriculture apps and programs
- Ability to safely and accurately handle chemicals needed for field applications
- All other duties as assigned
- Prior experience operating farm equipment
- A willing attitude and desire to learn new skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and plan solutions
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and trustworthiness
- Good communicator
- Knowledge of safe workplace practices
- A valid and clear driver's license
- Ability to obtain Private Applicator Pesticide Certificate after hiring
